AGRICULTURE OF FACULTY THE UNIVERSITY MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG
Faculty of Agriculture is one of the 11 faculties of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Since starting up in 1980 to the Faculty of Agriculture now has a four-Study Program are: Agronomy (Agroteknologi), Agribusiness, THP (Food Science and Technology), and Forestry. In running activity and the Faculty of Studies on the Vision and Mission that has been described in the strategic plan short and long term.

Agronomy Study Program (Agroteknologi) at the beginning of the establishment by the name of Cultivation Agriculture. This Program began operating in 1980, to obtain registered status in 1985 Tax 070/0/1985, recognized status in 1987 Tax 0387/0/1987, equated the status of 18 July 1989 Tax 0447/0/1989 and obtain accreditation with the value based on B SK National Accreditation Board of Higher Education Tax 03374/Ak-1-III-006/UMMAGR/V/2000. Next five years, precisely on 25 August 2005 status akreditasinya increased to A (BAN-PT No.: 015/BAN-PT/Ak-IX/S1/VIII/2005)

Agribusiness Studies Program was originally established with the name of Social and Economic Studies Program Agriculture. This course was first operated in 1984 based on the operating permit based on the recommendation letter Kopertis Regional Coordinator of East Java No. VII. 2076/Kop.VII/Q/1984 date of 15 December 1984. Status is registered on 18 February 1985 based on the SK Ministry of Education and Culture No. 070/0/1985. The increase is to be recognized status on 25 April 1992 with the Decree the Minister of Education and Culture No. 134/DIKTI/Kep/1992. Status is obtained on 28 September 1995 with the decree with the Minister of Education and Culture No. 149/DIKTI/Kep/1995. In the end social studies program is accredited Ekomoni Agriculture on 11 August 1998 with a value of B based on the Decree No National Accreditation Board. 01162/Ak.1-1/UMMSTE/VIII/1998. Then on 5 September 2003 to obtain Accreditation by the value B based on a decree from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education Tax 05875/Ak-VII-S1-027/UMMSTE/IX/2003.

Studies of Agricultural Technology (Food Science and Technology) was founded in 1993, based on the Letters Higher Education Director General of Tax: 118/DIKTI/Kep/1993. In the Year 2000 Program THP (Food Technology) University of Muhammadiyah Malang, obtain accreditation status with the B value, based on the decision letter BAN DIKTI Tax: 028/BAN-PT/Ak-IV/2000, dated 5 October 2000. And five years later, precisely on 26 January 2006 status akreditasinya increased to A (BAN-PT No.: 08285/Ak-IX-S1-028/UMMLLP/I/2006).

Forestry Studies is the educational institutions with programs of study Cultivating Forests, which was established in academic year 1999/2000 under the auspices of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Establishment of Forestry Program is to meet the demands of the forestry sector more complex. On 30 January 2004 Department of Forestry Accreditation obtain the value C based on a decree from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Tax: 003/BAN-PT/Ak-VII/S1/I/2004.
